Bindu’s next is a political thriller

Last month, Bindu Madhavi had told us that though she has been flooded with offers after her stint in the Bigg Boss house, she is in no hurry to sign a project. “I’ve a platter to choose from and I want to choose the best,” she had said then. And now, the actress seems to have made a decision — she has signed on to be part of Karu Palaniappan’s next with Arulnidhi, Pugazhendhi Enum Naan.An excited Bindu tells us, “I wanted a strong role and a proper subject to get back into the industry and resume my career in Kollywood. That’s when this film came my way. It’s set against the backdrop of politics. Karu sir is an exceptionally talented director and I’m sure I’ll enjoy every minute of shooting with him.”
Palaniappan confirms, “Like all my films, the female lead will have equal footage and that's why Bindu was kicked about the project. We’ll begin shooting in Pudukottai from December.”
